Job Summary

The Digital Engagement Specialist reports to the Sr. Director, Digital Engagement and Marketing Operations. The position is primarily responsible for managing updates to the main website and ancillary sites as needed, and monitoring incoming requests to the service mailbox. The team member will prioritize, manage and assign requests for updates, while meeting all service level agreements. S/he will also make minor edits or work with the content team for more formal edits to assure our online content follows best practices. S/he will also serve as back-up our email campaign work and our analytics and SEO/SEM work. The specialist will partner with teams across Marketing and Enterprise to keep our web content and experience up to date.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage digital mailbox, prioritizing, making and managing ongoing updates to web properties
  • Provide regular outreach to content owners to keep all content timely
  • Assure our content follows best practices for online content
  • Review web audits and implement recommendations
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams
  • Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools
  • Support the development and collection of key performance indicators
  • Provide back up for our email marketing and campaigns
  • Provide back up for our SEO/SEM work
  • Stay current with marketplace trends, tools, and technologies that support our efforts



Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree or diploma in Digital Marketing/Marketing, Business or Communications
  • Working knowledge of content management systems
  • 2+ years’ experience in digital content management and strategy
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise-level content management systems (Drupal, WordPress, etc.)
  • Understanding of html coding
  • High attention to detail, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills 
  • Understanding of digital and social media realms
  • Passionate about digital communications and new technologies
  • Understanding of web content best practices and strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Able to work well under pressure and to multi-task on concurrent projects
  • Enjoys working in a hands-on and collaborative team environment
  • Photography, videography and editing skills are an asset
  • Some experience with or exposure to marketing automation software (Pardot, Exact Target, Marketo, etc.) 
  • Demonstrated experience of managing web content
  • High energy, self-starter with bias for action and sense of urgency 
  • Solid attention to detail and proactive problem-solving capabilities 
  • Team player and excellent interpersonal skills
